AMD on Tuesdayannouncedits financial results for the third quarter of 2024. With a revenue of $6.819 billion, the company posted its best quarter ever as its datacenter unit enjoyed record sales. Sales of AMD’sRadeongraphics processors dropped sharply in the third quarter compared to the same period a year ago as the company prepared to introduce its next-generation products several months down the road, AMD’s chief executive Lisa Su announced on Tuesday.
