Russia on track to manufacture 28nm chips in domestic fabs by 2030, 19 years after tech first debuted
Despite all odds, Russia hopes to kick off local mass production of chips using its domestic28nm-class process technology by 2030, just as it expected several years ago. This 28nm process technology will purportedly enable MCST, the developer of SPARC-based Elbrus processors, to build CPUs with performance that meets the expectations of Russian companies.
